The Beit Tzipora Center at Ashkelon is undergoing construction this spring and summer. Due to structural problems with the old building, the Center is currently housed in a temporary space while contractors break ground on a new center. The new and improved building will provide more classrooms, computer labs, a multi-media library and auditorium. The larger space will also make it easier to continue the Adult Education program started in 2002 to assist the parents of our students with language and parenting skills classes.
Additionally, we're pleased to announce that students are benefiting from the scholarship program created in 2004. The scholarships, limited to Beit Tzipora Center graduates, serve to finance the cost of a college education in exchange for volunteering at Beit Tzipora Ashkelon during the school year. To date, 10 scholarships have been awarded.
